Golden Beach
The island's longest and best-known sand strip. Central, close to everything.
Avşa Island has roughly 35 kilometres of coastline, packed with beaches of distinctly different characters. The southern shore gets sun all day; the northern coves are refreshed by a cool breeze. Most beaches are within walking distance or a short minibus ride of the main jetty.
Most of the beaches are free to enter; some have small day-use facilities, sun beds, and beach cafés. The shallow, gentle water makes Avşa particularly well suited to families with children.
